An Indian actress, born in Chennai, India, into a Tamil family, she is the sister of Bollywood actress Hema Malini. She studied at St. Joseph's High School in Juhu and then at the University of Mumbai, and has appeared in films such as Roja (1992), Ranna (2015), Deja Vu (2022), and Nail Polish (2021), and serials such as Devi (2002), Soundaravalli (2010), and Sweet Kaaram Coffee (2023).
