A German actor, singer, and voice actor. He was born in West Berlin, West Germany, at the time.In 1969, he enrolled at the Free University of Berlin to study German language and theater studies. The following year, he transferred to the Berlin Max Max Reinhardt School for Drama to pursue his acting career. He performed on stage in Berlin's Maxim Gorky Theater and Hamburg's Deutsches Schauspielhaus, the German Theater. He appeared in many films and also narrated many audiobooks, such as the novel Solar by Ian McEwan and many novels by Ferdinand von Schirach.
