German actress born on 20 October 1979 in Cologne, Germany to actor Hanfried Schüttler. She made her debut at 11 years old and later studied at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media. She rose to fame through the miniseries Generation War (2013). Her other works include Free Fall (2013) and Sophiiiie! (2002). She received a Bavarian Film Award for Best Young Actress for The Day Will Come (2009). She married director Till Franzen and they have two children.
