A French director, writer, and producer, born in Tunis. He began his career as a film producer in 1979 with the film L'école est finie. He then embarked on writing and directing in 1984 with the film Souvenirs, Souvenirs, and then directed several works such as Angélique (2013) and Yamakasi (2001).
