A Brazilian writer, born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He studied at the College of Letters at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro. He taught French and worked in the newspaper O Globo as a theater and cinema critic. His works include O Dono do Mundo, Celebrity, Tropical Paradise, and Irrational Heart.
