An American director and actor, born in Ohio, United States, and grew up in Illinois. He graduated from Glenbard West High School in 1970, then entered the Goodman School of Drama, now known as The Theatre School at DePaul University, and trained in singing opera. He directed many artistic works, such as Soap and Blossom.
