A playwright, drama critic, and academic, born in 1947. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts, Department of Drama and Dramatic Criticism, in 1975. He worked as a professor of drama at the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts, after which he headed the Drama and Criticism Department, then worked as a deputy and then dean of the institute. He authored many books and academic and critical studies specialized in theater. He participated in the movie Jonea.
