A Mexican-American actress, singer and businesswoman, born on January 26, 1955 in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. She began her career in 1972 when she entered a beauty contest held by a very popular Mexico City newspaper called El Heraldo, and won the title. She then appeared in a number of films during the 1970s, with Mexican movie legends such as Anthony Quinn, Dolores del Río and others. By 1978, with her TV series Viviana, Lucia had become a well-known star throughout Mexico and the rest of Latin America, and her series became famous all over the world, especially in Spain, Italy and France. Lucía's success continued with the success of her series Colorina (1980), then Vanessa (1982) and Tú o nadie (1985), she also appeared in a double role in the series El extraño retorno de Diana Salazar (1988), and she also participated in several films such as The Children of Sanchez (1978), Darker Than Night (1975) and God's Crooked Lines (1983).
