An American actor, born in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He graduated from the University of Michigan. Raintree County (1957) was his film debut, while Robert Montgomery Presents (1955) marked his TV series debut. His last appearance was in Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999). He married Elynor Fogel, with whom he had two children, and she remained with him until he died.
