American actress, musician, songwriter, and album producer. She was born on February 11, 1962 in Kennett, Missouri. Sheryl's music includes rock, folk, hip-hop, country and pop. She released 7 albums and participated in recording movie songs. She has sold more than 17 albums in the United States of America and more than 50 albums worldwide. She has won 9 Grammy Awards. She performed with the Rolling Stones and sang alongside Michael Jackson, Tony Bennett, Kid Rock, Sting and other professionals. As an actress, She has appeared in the Disney Channel TV series 30 Rock, Cougar Town, and Hannah Montana. She has contributed to the soundtracks of several films. She was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer in 2006, and revealed in 2011 that she had a brain tumor, but it was benign.
