German actor and singer, born on April 5, 1901 in Berlin, Germany. He began his artistic career in 1930. He left Berlin and moved to Hollywood. He participated in a number of films, including: The Wings of Desire (1987), The Roaring Fifties (1982), and The Boat Is Full (1981). He released the album Reizend (1908-1932). He died on December 25, 1991 in Berlin.
