A British actress, born in Manchester, United Kingdom. She was adopted when she was six years old by a Scottish couple, then her name was changed to Lesley Sharp. She grew up in the Formby area, North Liverpool. She is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Dramatic Arts. After her graduation, she began participating in artistic performances. She participated in local theaters and also made her way to the cinema screen through many films.
