A Filipina-American singer and actress, born on February 22, 1971, in Manila, Philippines. In 1978, she made her debut in the musical The King and I. She also provided the singing voices for two Disney characters; Jasmine in Aladdin (1992), and Fa Mulan in Mulan (1998). Her well-known albums include "Lea... In Love" (1998), "By Heart" (1999), and "Inspired" (2007).
