Egyptian playwright who wrote several stage productions then went to study for his master's degree in Italy. He came back and directed many productions and was awarded first prize at the Egyptian National Theater Festival for his play "The Donkey's Shadow". He won other awards in the same festival for other plays of his including "Men and Women" and "The One Who Built Egypt".
