A French actor, born in Caen, Normandy, France, where he grew up and discovered theater at boarding school. He began his artistic career at the Maison de la Culture's theatre and met director Yves Graffey in 1969 to begin his artistic career in cinema. He participated in many works, including the films Of Gods and Men (2010), Femme Fatale (2002), Didier (1997), Capital (2012), and Parlez-moi d'amour (2002).
