An Egyptian actor and boxer who was the father of Egyptian wrestling champion and media personality Mamdouh Farag, and the brother of boxer and actor Mahmoud Farag. He was a heavyweight boxing champion during the 1940s. His acting credits include Young Dreams, Nights of Pleasure, and An Hour for Your Heart.
