He is an Egyptian singer and musician. He is recognized as one of the most prominent Egyptian oud players in the Arab world. He has a music band called 'Massar'. He also founded another band in 2005 named 'Eskenderella', which started singing the songs of Sayed Darwish and Sheikh Imam. He appeared in the play The Little Prince (2016), and the film Alexandria (2012).
