A South Korean model and actress, born in Incheon, South Korea. A graduate of the Seoul Institute of the Arts, she began her career in modeling and later moved into films, starting with a short film titled Flush (2000). Her most important works include Nabi (2001), Oldboy (2003), Invisible Waves (2006), Lucid Dream (2017), and Jugglers (2017-2018). She has received many awards, such as the Puchon International Film Festival Award for Best Actress for her film Nabi (2001).
