An Egyptian actor, who was the father of actor and director Mohamed Abo Dawood. In the 1950s, he established a troupe called Helwan Troupe which he dissolved after the financial loss he experienced. He then worked as an agent for actors. He discovered actor Sayed Zayan and became known for Dalal (1969).
