An American director and producer, born to television producer Stephen J. Cannell. She started her career in the mid-1990s and has directed numerous productions. Her directorial debut was in Renegade (1992). She is known for Blindspot (2016), Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2008), and Secrets of Eden (2012), starring John Stamos. She is a co-chair member of the Directors Guild of America.
