Spanish actor, born on January 18, 1968 in Málaga, Andalucía, Spain. He worked as a sports journalist for Canal Sur Radio and Television. His cinema debut was in Los peores años de nuestra vida (1994) as Emilio Martínez-Lázaro. He is known for The Last Circus (2010), Marshland (2014), and The Candidate (2018). Among his several awards and nominations, he received two Goya Awards for Best Lead Actor for El reino (2018) and Best Supporting Actor for Azuloscurocasinegro (2006).
