An American writer and producer, born in Ames, Iowa, USA. She graduated from the University of California. She worked on both sitcoms and serial dramas and was a co-writer and producer for five years on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Among her credits are Husbands (2011), Battlestar Galactica: The Face of the Enemy (2008-2009), and Game of Thrones (2011). She won two Hugo Awards.
