An American actor of Italian origin, born in Brooklyn, New York. His mother is Patricia Eddy, an English professor, and his father is the lawyer Gary Tomei. His sister is the actress Marisa Tomei. Adam made his debut in 1996 by participating in the movie Bloodhounds. His works also include The Truman Show (1998), Meet Dave (2008), and She's Out of My League (2010).
