A Japanese politician and former actor, born on November 24, 1974, in Takarazuka, Hyogo, Japan. He is known for Battle Royale (2000), Moon Child (2003), and Get Up! (2003). Yamamoto was a member of the House of Councillors from 2013 to 2019 and was a candidate in the 2020 Tokyo gubernatorial election. He was previously married to Julie Warisaya.
