An Iraqi director, born in Babylon, Iraq. After obtaining a diploma from the Institute of Fine Arts, Department of Theater, he worked on Iraqi television. In 1980, he left Iraq for France to complete his postgraduate studies. He obtained a diploma from the Department of Audio and...Read more Visual Studies, as well as a diploma in in-depth studies from the Philosophy Department at Sorbonne University. In France, he wrote and directed a number of short and documentary films, such as Revenge, Children of the Siege, and Mandaeans of Iraq. He died on 4 July 2023.
