An actor and writer, born in Zwickau, Saxony, Germany on February 25, 1913. He married Karen Frob, and they got three children. His most famous works are It Happened in Broad Daylight (1958), The Longest Day (1962), Goldfinger (1964), and Is Paris Burning (1966). He died in Munich, Germany On September 5, 1988 due to a heart attack at the age of 75.
