British actor, born in Stirlingshire, Scotland. He was part of John Clyde's company's. Among his several performances, he appeared in two plays: The Great Game at the Dali Theater in New York, USA, in May 1912, and Jeanie Deans at the Theater Royal in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1910. As for his screen productions, he is known for Down on the Farm (1920) and for his collaboration with Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy.
