American actress, born on August 31, 1907, Buenos Aires, Argentina. She had moved from theater to cinema, debuting in her classic film It's a Wonderful Life (1946). Among her most prominent works are: I Spy (1965), Black Market Baby (1977), and The Caddy (1953). She died in Rome, on December 20, 2005.
