An American actor, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA on September 4, 1928. He got married to Joan Akt, and had 5 children with her and remained with her until his death. While Dick was working in a movie, he had an accident while filming, and he was hit in the back in 1959. He kept suffering from his injury and taking painkillers on himself so that he could work, but he lost his ability to move in 1969. He dedicated himself to defending the disabled and the homeless, and he was collecting money from the private sector for them. Among his most notable works are: My Sister Eileen (1955), and Bewitched (1964). He died on February 20, 1992 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in the United States of America.
