American actress, born in Hollywood. She is the daughter of film actor Robert Montgomery and theater actress Elizabeth Allen. She graduated from the Spence School in New York, then joined the Academy of Dramatic Art in New York. She worked in television with the help of her father and presented more than 200 episodes of live programs until she considered herself the daughter of television. She then worked in the cinema, but returned to television to work in its films and series. Among her most notable works are Bewitched (1964), and Bikini Beach (1964). She got married to Frederic Gallatin outside the artistic field for a year, then she married actor Gig Young (1956-1963), then she got married to producer, director and writer William Asher (63-1974), with whom she had three children, and then she married actor and director Robert Fixworth (1995-93). She died on May 18, 1995 in Los Angeles, of colorectal cancer.
