An American actor born in Nabonne, Nebraska on March 31, 1931. His family moved to Hollywood when he was a teenager, and he made his acting debut in the 1945 movie It's a Pleasure. He played many small roles in films during the fifties, and participated in television series in the sixties, the most notable of which was The Fugitive (1963-1967), for which he received a Golden Globe Award. He continued to work on television until his sudden death on February 13, 1980 in Malibu, California.
