He graduated from San Jose State University, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in theater, and from there, he moved to Dallas, Texas. He joined the Dallas Theater...Read more Center and obtained a master's degree in 1982. His career included more than sixty theatrical performances, in addition to directing many other works. He is known for Magnolia (1999), RoboCop (1987), and The Alamo (2004).
