An Egyptian writer and journalist, born in Cairo. She started working in the magazine Rosa El Youssef in the fifties. She published one novel under the title "Diaries of a Tomboy Woman." She was the mother of playwright Lenin El Ramli. She's known for Confessions of a Woman (1971). She died on 13 January 2000.
