An Egyptian lyricist who witnessed the beginnings of a large number of Egyptian and Arab singers. He also wrote lyrics for songs in a number of films and series such as Girls in Trouble, Exiting the Circle, and Dreams of a Lifetime. He died on 27 December 2011.
