His most notable works include The Guns of Navarone (1961), Gidget (1959), Hearts in Atlantis (2001), and T.J. Hooker (1982-1986). He married twice; Gloria Terlitsky (1955-1959) and Evy Norlund (1960-present) and he has 3 sons.
