A Chinese director, born May 22, 1966, born in Shanghai. He lived the first 13 years of his life in Guiyang in southwest China. He joined the Academy of Arts before moving to directing at the Beijing Film Academy. Among his most important works are: Beijing Bicycle in 2001 and Shanghai Dreams in 2005.
