Italian actor and comedian born on 15 June 1920 in Rome, Italy. His most notable works include Io e Caterina (1980), Everybody Go Home! (1960), I Vitelloni (1953) , and Io so che tu sai che io so (1982). He has won over 30 awards in his lifetime including a Golden Globe in 1964. He died of lung cancer-related complications on 24 February 2003 in Rome, Italy.
