Japanese actor born on 13 December 1980 in Yanagawa, Fukuoka, Japan. His breakthrough role was on Waterboys (2001) for which he was nominated for Best Actor at the Japanese Academy Awards. His other notable works include The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), Rage (2016), and Josee, the Tiger, and the Fish (2003).
