A film director, writer and producer. She is a first-generation descendant of Holocaust survivors from Poland. She graduated from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts with a master's degree in film and television production, and a bachelor's degree in Theater and English from Connecticut College. She trained on acting in the Shakespeare Company. She is famous for directing the movies Don Quixote, and We Burn Like This.
