Syrian writer and plastic artist, born in Syria in 1954. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts. He became the head of the Syndicate of Fine Arts in Damascus in 1994 and the Syndicate of Fine Arts in the Syrian Arab Republic in 1998. He worked as the director and editor-in-chief of the weekly Syrian magazine, Black and White. He is known for Al-Mashrqah Alley (2015).
