A Syrian writer, born in Damascus in 1351 AH / 1932 AD. She studied in Damascus schools, moved to Cairo and obtained a diploma in journalism from the Faculty of Arts. She is the founder of the Arab Literature Association, a women's literary association. In 1951, she began writing and publishing in the press in Cairo, Damascus, Baghdad and Beirut.
