A Sudanese director, cinematographer, and writer, born in Sudan. He lives between Nairobi and the Nuba Mountains region. He is also a war correspondent and a documentary filmmaker. His film Beats of the Antonov won the People's Choice Award for Best Documentary at TIFF in 2014.
