Iranian director, born in 1979 in Baneh, Iran. He worked in many short films, including The Painter and Surely Today. His short film Ask the Wind won the Crystal Bear Award in the Generation competition at the 2010 Berlin Film Festival. He is also known for Mardan (2014).
