A British actor, director, and playwright, born on January 18, 1960 in the United Kingdom. He won an Oscar in 2016 for Best Supporting Actor in the movie Bridge of Spies. His films include The BFG, Dunkirk, The Trial of the Chicago 7, and The Outfit.


Mark Rylance, British actor and writer, moved with his parents to the United States when he was little, where he launched his acting career through theater while studying. Rylance participated in the adaption of many Shakespeare novels, and received a scholarship to study drama and theater in London. He took part in plays as both an actor and a director. Rylance also has many works in both the TV and cinema. Among his most famous works are: Anonymous, Blitz and We Are Many.
