American actor in silent films, vaudeville performer, and father of actor, director, and producer Buster Keaton. He was born on July 6, 1867, in Terre Haute, Indiana, United States. He participated in many works, including The Bell Boy (1918), The Scarecrow (1920), and The Haunted House (1921). He died on January 13, 1946, in Los Angeles, California, United States.
