An American actor born in Brooklyn, New York, on April 10, 1921, to Canadian immigrant parents and of Irish descent. He died in Los Angeles, California, on November 10, 1992, of pneumonia and lung cancer. Chuck Connors was awarded a Golden Boot in 1984, and in the same year he received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his television work. He studied at Seton Hall University. Chuck Connors' most important works include Old Yeller (1957), Soylent Green (1973), and Tourist Trap (1979).
