Italian actress, born on January 30, 1935, in Grosseto, Tuscany, Italy as Elsa Tia. At the Berlin Film Festival, she won the Silver Bear for the 1956 movie Donatella. She married Count Franco Mancinelli Scotti di San Vito in 1957 and had a child, and after their divorce, she married actor Willy Rizzo in 1968. Elsa worked as a bartender in a bar and was discovered in 1953 by fashion designer Roberto Capucci to work as a model. She was the mother of actress Cristiana Mancinelli. She is known for The Trial (1962), Hatari! (1962), and Madigan's Millions (1968).
