An American actress, born in the state of Illinois, in the United States of America. Her father worked as a lawyer. She began her artistic career in the theaters of vaudeville shows, and she also worked as a singer. She appeared in several artistic works with the actor Charlie Chaplin, and among her other works are The Circus (1928), Ghost Valley (1932), Red-Haired Alibi (1932), and The Big Chance (1933).
