American silent actress, born on November 21, 1899 in South Pittsburgh, Tennessee. She left her home for New York in 1919 and trained in dancing. She was discovered by actor Harold Lloyd, and she began her artistic career in 1920. She is known for For Heaven's Sake (1927), Girl Shy (1924), and Hot Water (1924). She died on January 22, 1967 at Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California.
