An American actor, born in St. Cloud, Minnesota, on November 4, 1913. Gig received his secondary education in Washington, DC, where he practiced his hobby in acting, and performed a lot of theatrical performances, then got a scholarship to study drama at the Pasadena Theater. He was able to work in cinema, theater and television, and he presented many roles, including They Shoot Horses, Don't They? (1969), for which he won an Academy Award. Gig Young married five times, the last of which was to actress Kim Schmidt, and after 22 days of marriage, he shot her, then shot him in the head and died on October 19, 1978 in New York.
